I've always regretted the impulse purchase of this trench some 4 ans ago due to it not having that certain stifness or that certain structure most trench coats are supposed to have. For instance, it's hard to turn the collar upward as it will just effortlessly fall back again and this has much to do with its material. Lately,I've been finding it's own rightful beauty which rests on the more laid-back and lighter side of my dressing. It's kind of like the trench you'd take to the beach because it's not so stiff, it's just like some light and easy outerwear of sorts or what I could conveniently call my summer trench. Perhaps the next time I'd do the beach, I'd keep in mind to take this one with me. Accentuated by a chapeau blanc, it does give further that summer illusion despite the technicality that it's already the rainy season here in Manille.
Chapeau blanc: Randomly picked up from Alex's living room, specs: Etro, manteau: Tyler, chemise: Polo by Ralph Lauren, jean: Topman, suede slip-ons: Opening Ceremony.
