I do not see myself getting married in this lifetime but I think I will want to be if I can get to wear a customised Alexis Mabille le smoking ensemble if ever I will. I also take much fancy over Stefano Pilati’s aesthetic at YSL. If in any case we shall go on with daydreaming I will cease this from becoming a wish list because they hardly ever get accomplished for someone penniless comme moi. Like what one of the characters in this upcoming film, she perfectly sums up why I like weddings in the first place. It is an occasion to get dressed up!
Since I am a superficial existence in this world of ours, I shamelessly admit that I love frippery. And I also declare my love for attending such bourgeois tradition such as a wedding. It’s always a good excuse to wipe off the dust of that costume I do not regularly wear and take it out for a spin. I strictly confine myself to blanc et noir in such events. D’ailleurs, it’s also a good excuse to wear my beloved pair of patent lace-ups which I usually reserve for such occasions.
And now we have this film Pièce montée avec Clémence Poésy and Jérémie Renier which gave me the luxury of a wonderful morning as I was entertained yet again (which I am usually deprived of because I still live with the parentals and une âme maligne comme moi just wouldn't last a day without an argument with my mom and they just basically hate me for being this difficult and complex individual). In the name of weddings, I also realised the idea of elevation as to what Amedée Ozenfant says. In his case he says great art is one that elevates or one that is elevated through certain aesthetic and whatever values there are. In any case, I see myself elevating myself from my relatives by overdressing. I'm in better terms with them but that doesn't mean we are close these days. Being hated has often been my fate and while I am being hated, I would just like to look good. Finalement, I remember reading Nietzsche while waiting for the bride to walk through the isle. Churches depress me especially if there is a mass going on. Ben alors, I'm just really not the religious type.
